Held at the beautiful The Langham Melbourne, the evening brought together business owners, community leaders and industry professionals to recognise excellence, dedication and service across Melbourne.

We are incredibly proud to share that Pet Stays was awarded Best Pet Care Business 2024 (North West Melbourne) at the Local Business Awards.
Pet Stays is our sister business, which we have been proudly operating for over a decade, specialising in in-home dog boarding. What began as a passion for providing safe, loving and personalised care for dogs has grown into a trusted service for families who want their dogs cared for in a home environment, not kennels.
This recognition reflects years of dedication, consistency and genuine care, and the deep trust our clients place in us when they leave their furry family members in our hands.
How Caring for Dogs Led to Bark with Buster
Through our work at Pet Stays, caring for hundreds of dogs over many years, we began to notice a recurring pattern. Many dogs struggled with sensitive stomachs, allergies, low energy and other health concerns that often traced back to poor-quality diets and highly processed treats with unclear ingredients.
As carers entrusted with dogs’ wellbeing, we felt a responsibility to do more than provide a loving place to stay — we wanted to support dogs’ long-term health. That experience led to the creation of Bark with Buster, our natural dog treat brand focused on simple, honest, Australian-made ingredients designed to support canine health.
What started as a response to what we were seeing firsthand has grown into a purpose-driven business rooted in prevention, transparency and doing better by dogs.

Being recognised as Best Pet Care Business is a testament to the long-term relationships we’ve built with pet parents, the standard of care we deliver every day, and our belief that dogs deserve to be treated like family.
